Teletog is a spoiler-safe place to talk about TV, one episode at a time. Here's how it works and how to get help.

How does the spoiler gate work?

Every episode of a show gets its own discussion room, and you only ever see the room for an episode once you've marked that episode, and everything before it, as watched. Mark where you are, and the app unlocks exactly that far and no further. Nothing past your progress is ever shown to you, and you can't be shown a word about it. This is enforced on our servers, not left to etiquette.

Getting started

• Find your show and mark the episodes you've watched.
• Each watched episode opens its own room.
• Open a room and talk with people who are exactly as far as you are.
• Move forward an episode, and the next room opens.

I marked the wrong episode

You can lower your progress in the app. Because progress controls what you can see, a room you've already opened can't be un-seen, so we'll ask you to confirm before moving your progress backward.

Reporting and blocking

Keeping rooms safe matters to us. Every message can be reported and any person can be blocked, and these controls are always available, including as screen-reader actions. Reports are reviewed by a real person, with a priority lane for anything involving minors. Blocking someone hides their messages from you right away.

Your account and privacy

• Set a display name any time in Settings → Account; until you do, your username stands in.
• Manage everyone you've blocked in Settings → Privacy.
• Delete your account and data any time in Settings → Account → Delete account, or request deletion at teletog.com/delete-account. This permanently removes your profile, your show progress, and clears your messages.

Teletog has no ads, no trackers, and we do not sell your data.
